1. Classification of the project

HeartChase™ brings families, friends, and coworkers of all ages together in a community-wide competition to uncover clues, solve puzzles and complete challenges in a race to the finish line. Our objective was to raise $10,810 to be donated to the American Heart Association by hosting a two hour event—HeartChase Corvallis—in Avery Park on the 1st of June, 2013, at a cost not to exceed $690.

    Results:
           6 Teams (20 participants) compete
           Raised and donated $710

2.  Factual analysis of success in terms of project objectives and

     methodologies used.

Late start of the project negatively affected our potential sponsors that it was too short time to make a decision as a organization. We listed up 42 companies in local area and promoted our events for them. As a result, we could not able to get any sponsors as a stakeholder.

Cancelation of the event in an early stage was hard to decide as we were not able to predict if we could get sponsors or not.  However, AHA and our team decided to have the event even we have no sponsors.

Another concern was participants shortage in the event. We promoted our event in MU quad, Farmer's market, Baseball game, and other team's event with delivering flyers to students and families.
